I’m still working my way through lots of motorcycle videos from the New Zealand holiday in 2018, which is taking longer than expected! Whilst I’m finishing up with the editing and article writing, I’ve created a short montage of holidays over the past few years – enjoy 🙂
You can view write-ups from my previous holidays below, and remember to share with your friends 🙂 Happy travels!!
I’ve recently returned from a motorcycle holiday in New Zealand, and wanted to share some highlights. One of the places I wanted to visit was Invercargill, the home of “The World’s Fastest Indian”. If you are unfamiliar with the story, I suggest watching the film, which features superb acting by Anthony Hopkins as Burt Munro.
Burt Munro set multiple land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats on his custom built motorcycles. I was very keen to see the original bikes, now displayed at E A Hayes Hardware store in Invercargill.
Classic Motorcycle Mecca is also a great place to visit, which features an amazing collection of classic road and race bikes, including the amazing Britten v-twin race bikes. If you are ever in the area, I thoroughly recommend a visit to these places if you are a keen motorcycle enthusiast.
The weather has been amazing recently, and the opportunity came up to camp at the Trew Fields Festival in Surrey. The Aprilia Futura is my main bike for touring, so I packed the camping gear and heading off on Saturday morning.
The Trew Fields Festival is a cancer awareness event and holistic retreat over the weekend. There were lots of interesting speakers, live music and healthy food. I could only stay for the Saturday and headed home early on Sunday morning, but I had a great time meeting new people and taking riding the Futura on some lovely roads through Surrey. I’ll be coming again next year!
We’ve been really busy recently adding more motorcycle holiday videos to our YouTube channel. If you haven’t checked them out, please head over to our channel and relax with the amazing views and relaxed riding.
Canada is an amazing place to go riding, and a full article is under development! Please share with your fellow biker friends.
My videos were recorded with iON Air II helmet camera 🙂
