Revelstoke to Golden
After spending a great time exploring Revelstoke and the surrounding towns over the past couple of days, it was time to hit the road again, and start making my way towards my next destination Golden on the beautiful route 1 through the Glacier National Park. It was a relatively short ride compared to the trip from Cache Creek to Revelstoke, so I took a much more relaxed pace as the road wound steadily through the mountain ranges through Rogers Pass.
I was really starting to take in more of the Canadian views and pace of the day, and feeling much more acquainted with the BMW’s handling capabilities. I reached Golden in the early afternoon after stopping for fuel at Donald for fuel. I decided today that I’d benefit from taking it easy at a local bar, and a good sleep before heading to Banff in the morning, which I was really excited about.
