Honda VFR750F RC36, 48000 miles, MOT until 10.11.24.

I now have 4 bikes and no space in the garage so need to get rid of one.

I’ve owned this for 18 months, in my time I have serviced it (engine oil and filter, air filter, spark plugs, brake and clutch bleed, mechanical check over), replaced some carb seals due to a fuel leak (the remaining new seals I haven’t changed will be provided) and fitted a Mosfet reg/rec which is hardwired to the stator and directly to the battery, to cure the common wiring/battery issues common to these models.

Previous owner spent a small fortune and fitted new tyres, brakes, fork seals, chain and sprocket, battery, head bearings and rebuilt the rear shock. Extras include heated grips, tinted bubble screen, seat cowl (getting rare), carbon fibre rear hugger and a full Motad exhaust system which sounds great. Unfortunately there’s a crack in the exhaust which I only noticed today (see pics). It is repairable, or a new system can be bought from £250 online. Tool kit included, unsure if original or not.

Overall condition is ok, with a few cosmetic marks on the fairings and a small crack round the fixing holes (see pics). It’s not mint, but I feel its to be expected from a 27 year old bike with this many miles.

MOT is due in November – no advisories last year and besides the blowing exhaust it shouldn’t need anything else. V5 present and correct. These RC36 will likely appreciate in years to come, they’re fantastic to ride and sound incredible!
