Here is my trusty VFR750. I keep going back to them, and this one is a belter. The bodywork is the only flaw. It’s the most complete VFR I’ve ever had, the rubber flap things stopping spray on to the engine etc. I didn’t even know they came with them.
Anyway, since I’ve had it, I’ve changed the plugs, done the valve timing/ shims, put in new oil and filter, brake fluids and a radiator flush. It’s hpi clear. It comes with a rack and plate for a Givi top box, an aftermarket endcan (not noisy) and a stock endcan if you prefer, a seat hump (modified by previous owner) and a Haynes manual. The ignition has been changed so it has two keys. One for the ignition, one for the tank and seat lock. It’s a cracking bike. I would happily jump on it and ride the length of the country.
It’s got the upgraded reg/rec (standard is a known weakness), a complete stainless exhaust system, and braided brake lines.
The only reason I’m selling is parked next to it. My multi-bike insurance wanted over a grand to add my new bike so I’ve had to go elsewhere and just insure the new one. The VFR will be SORN from tomorrow.
Watch this space for an SV650 once I’ve changed the fork seals. A pox on rip-off insurance companies!
