Laverda 3c
1977 laverda 3c approx 11,791 km which i think may be correct . When i got the bike it appeared to have been off the road for over 40 years . It still had its original tyres on and was very faded and lightly corroded, the engine looked like it had never been apart except for the timing cover which i think is why it stopped being used as there was no spark .
Restoration as follows frame and brackets powder coated, tank and side panels re sprayed in 2k , new fork stenchions and seals , new tyres and tubes new wheel bearings, disc calipers re built , master cylinder resleeved with new seals , new braided brake lines ,new chain, carbs re built , new stainless steel collector pipe and silencers .
The engine has only had the covers taken off for inspection ,everything inside appears to in excellent condition, the spark problem was down to a dry joint on the magneto coil . The bike starts first time and rides very well , pulls well from low revs to high .
