1976 Yamaha FS1-E Motorcycle Baja Brown 50cc

1976 Yamaha FS1-E Motorcycle Baja Brown 50cc. 

This is a barn find, restored under the supervision of a professional classic car restorer. The restoration has been preservation-focused rather than to concours standard and we have used as many of the original parts of the bike as possible. The tank, side panels, headlamp casing and shock absorber sleeves were professionally resprayed in the original colour of Baja Brown and new decals applied. The carburettor has been restored but the engine otherwise left unrestored as it runs well, though a couple of the cooling fins have been lost. 

The frame and engine have matching numbers. 

The bike was previously owned by British racing driver James Diffey who added a larger exhaust – as seen in the photos the exhaust is not original . 

The MOT is valid until November 2025
