For sale a genuine and original Oily Rag Barn find 1961 Model 31 650cc CSR Matchless AJS Classic Vintage Motorcycle.

This vehicle does not have a V5 and will have to registered with DVLA.

This Matchless is being sold as in the condition shown in the photographs. There is some surface rust to the frame and chromed areas but for its age it is a great basis for a classic English bike to either fully restore or maintain in an oily rag usable fun vintage motorcycle.

This motorcycle was last used in October 2017 when it had its last MOT, which it passed. Since then it has just been sat unused so is now being sold as a PROJECT.

Prior to its last MOT it had a new wiring loom, JG solid state voltage regulator, new swinging arm pin and bushes. The forks were removed, and the stanchions were hard chromed and new fork bushes were fitted, front wheel and steering head bearings. The engine appears to be in sound condition.

This motorcycle is being sold in the condition as described and does not have any warranty given or implied.

There is no V5C with this bike so the new owner will want to apply to DVLA for a new one.

The motorcycle is located in Herefordshire and maybe collected in person once full payment is received. Delivery maybe also available by prior arrangement and must be paid for in addition to the price of the motorcycle. Please send your full postcode for an accurate delivery charge.
