The 1949 Harley Davidson FL Panhead with Sidecar, Restored 10 years ago, this bike is in great condition both cosmetically and mechanically Get ready to hit the road with this iconic piece of history.

OVERVIEW

This 1949 Harley Davidson Panhead has lived most of its life in southern California and maintained in the current owners collection for the last few years in a climate controlled facility. This panhead has been on static display since last summer, It was put away with fresh oil and fluids were drained from tank. To commission this again to running condition will probably only require a new battery and some gasoline. (We will be working on getting this running again to get videos)

MILEAGE

Odometer shows 10,8665 – I am told there is about 2400 miles on motor and engine rebuild

SHEET METAL:

Two-Tone Blue and Black, Paint is in good condition and has a very nice shine for its age, some small scratches and paint flakes but overall is in pretty nice condition.

SHEET METAL:

Excellent original sheet metal with a great fit.

CHROME

Excellent, hi-quality chrome application on the restoration will clean up and shine great

MECHANICAL

This motorcycle was restored a number of years ago that included a fresh mechanical restoration of the entire motorcycle to include motor, trans, wheels, etc. It was last running less than 2 years ago, recommissioning should only be adding fluids and new battery.

Sidecar is in remarkable condition, very straight and very solid, there is no rust rot through like you see on most, interior is in great shape
