The original Edward Turner-designed four-cylinder ‘superbike’ launched in 1930 as a 500cc OHC fitted into a conventional Ariel 500cc frame
By 1935, it’s capacity was 1,000cc with a totally revised engine layout including dry sump, one-piece crankshaft and a Solex carburettor
The previous owner commenced a year long extensive restoration and engine rebuild using many new parts
The bike is in running condition and has completed only 20 miles since the work was finished
The list of new parts is extensive and includes stainless steel wheels, engine parts, connecting rods, pistons and cylinder head, wiring harness and rebuilt dynamo, backed up by a plethora of history
Supplied with the current V5C and paperwork from the restoration
I can delivery at 50p per mile. Please send me your postcode for a price
Please no PayPal, cash or bank transfer only
This is a brilliant investment as this model in this condition prices are only going up
Reason for sale is that I have too many bikes and I need the space.
Any inspection is welcome.
