Up for sale is an exceptionally clean 1984 Honda CR500R, the legendary first-year CR500. This bike has undergone an extensive frame-up restoration/rebuild with attention paid to both appearance and mechanical condition.

This isn’t just a cleaned-up survivor. The bike was completely taken down to the frame, rebuilt, and fitted with a long list of new and restored components. It starts, runs, rides, and shifts perfectly and is ready to be enjoyed, displayed, or added to a serious vintage motocross collection.

ENGINE / MECHANICAL

The engine has been rebuilt and is running extremely well.

• 90.5mm bore

• Wiseco piston

FRAME-UP BUILD

The CR was stripped down to the frame and extensively gone through.

The 1984 CR500R represents the beginning of Honda’s legendary CR500 lineage and is becoming increasingly difficult to find in this kind of complete, restored, titled condition.

Many surviving examples are incomplete projects, heavily modified race bikes, or motorcycles that still require significant mechanical and cosmetic work.

This one has already had the time, parts, and money put into it.
