A Full Frame Up Restoration

With Too Much Done To List it All;

1994 Honda CR250R

A Stunning Classic In Showroom New Condition

Museum Quality & Kaplan America Approved

Absolutely pristine 1994 Honda CR250R

a full frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration of one of the most iconic motocross bikes ever built.

This is the same-generation CR250 that Jeremy McGrath used to dominate AMA Supercross and Motocross championships — a bike so perfectly balanced and brutally fast that it became a legend in its own time.

This CR250R was completely dismantled down to the bare frame and restored with meticulous attention to detail and performance. Every nut, bolt, bearing, and seal has been either replaced with new OEM parts or professionally restored.

Frame & Engine Work:

✅ Frame powder-coated in original Honda Shasta White (with VIN tag intact)

✅ Complete engine rebuild – new crank bearings, seals, piston, rings, gaskets, top-end bearings

✅ Cases split, bottom end and transmission inspected and refreshed

✅ New V-Force 3 reed intake system

✅ New Pro Circuit Factory Sound Stainless Series exhaust & silencer

✅ New Boyesen Factory Racing ignition & power valve covers

New clutch plates & rebuilt water pump with silicone hoses

Wizard-tuned and jetted to perfection – fires instantly, runs crisp and strong

⚙️ Performance & Components

This engine produces explosive yet manageable power — the perfect balance of arm-stretching torque and smooth top-end pull. Handling is razor-sharp, with all systems rebuilt to better-than-new specs.

    • New Swingarm Bearings
    • New Linkage Bearings
    • New Head Bearings
    • New Wheel Bearings

Even the smallest details are perfect — from the red anodized washers and case guards to the polished OEM hardware.

This bike retains its original Takasago XL rims (date-coded August 1993) — a true hallmark of authenticity and proof of low hours. Both rims are perfectly straight, with minimal signs of use.

The radiators are original and perfectly straight, showing the bike has never been cartwheeled. The fuel tank is original, not aftermarket, and in outstanding condition.

The frame rails are excellent — no dents, no scrapes, no signs of hard use, only one small ding on bottom.

Every system functions exactly as it should — or better — from the suspension and brakes to the clutch and throttle response.

This build represents over 65 hours of professional labor at $150/hr — that’s $9,750 in labor alone, plus more than $3,000 in new parts.

Recreating a CR250R to this standard would cost well over $13,000 today — and that’s if you could even find a suitable core bike to start with.
