This fabulous bike was purchased from an expert restorer 8 years ago and I have had an incredible time riding her!
The chap who sold it to me said he had purchased from an importer where it had been stood for many years and was looking very rough, bits missing etc. The engine was fully stripped but it showed hardly any signs of wear such that the barrels still had the crisscross pattern!
The works he did included:
The crank has been done and all the rubber seals replaced.
Replaced fuel tank
Replaced the two stroke oil and water overflow tanks.
Full re-Spray
Wheels blasted and painted
New Bearings
Brakes stripped
The mileage is now 9,000 km and I have taken immaculate care of the bike and continued with minor bits of restoration to improve her further.
