Bike is located close to Gatwick airport in Surrey!.

I am asking a realistic low price to reflect that she does need work  and repair to finish off and get right.

She had been standing for sometime when i got her in 2018 as he parked her up when his medical condition stopped him riding with the intent of getting back on the road when he improved!- sadly that never happened!. no joy in aging with medical problems.

Prior to parking up he had her repainted in Suzuki Coronado blue and lined the tank with ethanol proof TAPOX sealant still looks lovely!.

When I started the recommission the ignition system was poor with weak /poor sparks so i have replaced the coils plug leads/ plugs!.and it sparks well at the plugs.

However the bike does not run well!.- She is extremely difficult to start  from cold and only fires upon left cylinder first- the right then chimes in after about 10/20 seconds once warm it is much better and it starts first kick!.

When running the idle is erratic sometimes to high other times stalling ! and she smokes very heavily!

Which we now know is the bike burning its gearbox oil due to crank seal failure!!!

That being said when i could ride i did about 20 miles on her Gearbox and clutch seem to function ok!.

The brakes work well- all the electrics  are functioning i have had  my borescope camera down the plug holes pistons look fine with light carbon deposits and hone marks still visible on the bores!

As i do NOT have a garage its not practical for me to do the rebuild as the engine needs stripping and the crank rebuilding!.

Knowing what an expensive process this can be the price has been reduced accordingly and is now at approx- HALF!! the value that the bike could achieve once rebuilt! 

I was also planning to completely strip the carbs and get them ultrasonically cleaned and de-coak the exhaust system +checking  the ignition timing.

l now have to pass her on to someone else who can finish the work!.

Please study the pictures carefully to understand what’s on offer!, the mechanical issues aside the rest of the bike is in good shape.

Like I said she runs!- but to be fair i wouldn’t recommend any kind of lengthy journey home on her because of the previously mentioned issues! ,far better to use a van or trailer to get home safely and sort the mechanical issues at your leisure and enjoy her properly once sorted!.
