Yamaha TY80 B Motorbike

Cracking little TY80 B – from late 70’s.

Matching numbers

All in good working condition.

When I bought it the previous owner had welded the kickstart shaft as it had sheared off – look at photo – it is now held on with a nut and bolt. I looked for ages to find a replacement shaft and did find one eventually but never got round to replacing it as it works fine as it is. Does drip oil from around the shaft seal if you leave it sat for a while but not badly enough that I got round to changing the seal.

Loads spares – Full gasket set -oil seals /  levers – fork seals – kickstart assembly and kick start – stainless bolt set – new front mudguard – carb kit – new reeds – and whole spare side cover with 2 stroke oil pump if you want to convert it back to original (runs pre mix at the moment ). New front tyre, good rear. Chain and sprockets all good. Small crack in rear mudguard – see photo.

My son has outgrown it and we were going to keep it as a collectors item but he wants the money out of it for an enduro bike.

Ideal bike for a full restoration or just enjoy it as it is.
