I’ll start by saying that I bought this as a project in 2023 from a friend whom has 4 of the tdr 250 that I managed to get him to sell it to me
He had an engine rebuild in 2017 but never rode it so was stud for a number of years
I’ve spent a fair few quid on her and she runs absolutely perfect
All the carbs are cleaned with filters now fitted
Only ever run in my time on shell ultra
2nd kick on prime start from cold then starts first kick
I had a zeeltronic ignition system fitted that makes the bike run so sweet
Jim lomas pipes that sound as a 2 stroke should crisp and clean
All new wheel bearings/swing arm bearings
New renthal bars
New grips
Original hubs I had powder coated and had new motorad rims fitted at central wheel components (very expensive)
New Bridgestone battlax tyres wider rear tyre (rides better)
Polished forks with new oil seals with no marks at all my opinion mint condition
Polished swing arm
Has all original Yamaha plastics
Seat condition is great
The bike does have a few marks as in pictures but I was keeping it I would sort them but other projects are moving on so have to off load her
Pipes were fitted tuning works by Sean and carbs set up
No test rides willing to take you out on it but rides like it looks great
The bike kept away from home address as I don’t have room so any viewings need to arranged in advance so not to waste both our times
These bikes are getting super rare
I also have some spares that would go with the bike through negotiation
