This is probably one of the best TDR’s in the country and has been described as a unicorn bike.
Featured in Practical Sportsbikes a few years ago. I performed a complete nut and bolt restoration, every nut, bolt, washer, seal, bearing has been replaced. No expense was spared with tgis build.
The frame has had a bare metal powder coating, the engine has been torn down and completely rebuilt with all genuine yamaha parts as you can see from the pictures. Its been over bored by .25mm and new pistons and rings fitted.
New wheels from exel with uprated spokes. 17″ front and back. RGV 250VJ21 front mudguard and fork brace. Suspension is original but has been fully rebuilt by a specialist.
The engine starts 1st kick ever time, it runs exactly as it should do and the power band is still as much fun as you remember !
Speedo is showing 19000 miles, the rebuilt bike has done around 200 miles from rebuild.
