This is a running project, it needs finishing and is sold as such.
I originally bought an rg250 mk1 project years ago, it came with alot spares. Once finished I was left with a rolling chassis. I could not bare to dump it all…so I set about saving a 2 stroke, without going mad with spending £££.This is the end result, not a minter….but very tidy. I was planning in having an everyday 2 stroke rider. Yesterday i noticed a leak from the tank, tiny pin hole, i did por15 seal it ages ago but obviously I think I should have used more epoxy, I would say it’s a quick fix, de grease an do it again. But I need the space and the leak has made me lose interest. I have spent too much time and money and its easy project for someone, either ride, tinker, or take to the next level.
Summary:All original body panels,

just been freshly repainted using image works graphic, looks great although I was going to redo the tank as it has some imperfections…but im being picky and honest.Engine runs (see video) needs setting up as it’s running filters. I have not ridden it (but could actually take it out now if there wasnt a leak) top end was off and looks fine, but it needs a ride/ shake down to gauge it all.  Im just about to drain out the remaining fuel now. It’s running pre mix, but all the autolube and tank are there. Plan was to do that once I set it up.Tyres are new,Calipers, all stripped, pistons cleaned and new seals,Forks have new seals, the aniti dive is blocked off, but kept on to look original..ish.Chain and sprockets all good.Has an rg125 ignition, that works, but I would source an original if I kept it.Temp gauge is after market, looks authentic enough. It’s very easy to make this a very nice bike…its all there, just small things. Finding all the illusive parts has been a pain, these are getting rare bikes. It’s b reg so will now fall into vintage tax/mot.
You wont see many 2 stroke projects for this price and quality, they are normally very rough.  I feel It’s priced fair, so please be sensible and respectful.
