Lambretta Series 1 Framebreather Genuine barn find UK reg from New.
This Lambretta Series 1 F,.B was found after 40 years in a shed. it was part of an estate sale.
After being found it had the gear oil changed and the carb ultra sonically cleaned, plug changed and it ran.! The chap who did this before me having it also put on two new tyres.
The reg number on it could not be recovered as there were not records for it to prove it like a tax disc or log book.
It now has a historic vehicle V5 in my name with an age related reg number.
The rear foot board / leg shield embellishers are after market and in good condition. these are sought after. There is a period rack.
This scooter runs and rides which is amazing and is incredibly original. The engine sounds very good and the gear box and clutch work fine.
The leg shields, rear floor boards are holed through rust. The bridge piece is missing . The main frame tube is fine. One front legshield mount on the frame could do with a repair .
I was going to keep this but I have too many scooters and not enough time.
The scooter is in Hertfordshire 5 mins from Junction 9 on the M1.
I could possibly deliver it for some agreed fee.
