Up for auction is a classic 1980s Honda Melody II Deluxe 49cc scooter. This is a brilliant, highly sought-after retro moped that would make a fantastic winter restoration project, a cool retro commuter, or a unique promo vehicle.It features a massive vintage delivery top box on the rear, giving it an incredible period-correct look. 

The original red bodywork and plastics are remarkably complete, showing standard age-related weathering but free from major structural cracks—which is rare for these 80s machines. The original seat is intact, and it still retains its front basket.

  Sold as a project/non-runner. It has been standing in storage and will require a mechanical recommissioning (fresh fuel, carb clean, and a new battery) to get it back on the road.

Cosmetics:

 Shows a lovely authentic patina. The bodywork needs a deep clean, and the rear top box has heavy surface staining/weathering that should scrub up well with some effort.
