2004 BMW R1200C
This bike is not a barn find, it is a shop find. It is my father-in-laws and has been sitting where he had his airplane built in Georgia for some time. He has moved out of the country and can no longer ride this motorcycle and has ask us to sell it.
Upon inspection found battery was bad and fuel pump needed replacing as well as draining the tank.
• Replaced pump and fuel filter, replaced battery with optimax gel battery.
With fresh fuel it started up and ran immediately.
Front tire is original by date stamp and rear tire was replaced in 2010.
Bike is equipt with anti-lock brakes and the indicator lights seem to be working properly.
Rode around block and everything seems to be ok.
Not familiar with these motorcycles and most likely whoever buys this will be.
Does have a “no radio” indicator coming up and the radio does not seem to play. It does have a cd player in the saddle bag.
Have not researched the radio (and won’t).
Extremely low milage with 2698.
Do recommend replacing tires and a service including brake fluid flush.
Some of the chrome trim is pitted and rear trunk was not on motorcycle when picked up and seems to have gotten some over spray on it. The trunk does appear to have suffered some scratches from laying around.
Starting bid is very low and buy now price is very low.
