I am offering for sale my much loved and cherished Honda VTR1000 SP2. The bike has only covered 15650 miles in is 24 year history. If you are looking at this add to buy one of these iconic bikes then I don’t need to tell you the extremely standard high HRC spec, but to compliment this the bike befits from Remus High Level ‘slip-ons’ (I still have the original one too) with a Power Commander III with the correct mapping along with Braided brake hoses and Crash protects. Apart from those enhancements, its all as Honda intended it to be. An absolute dream and faultless ride. The bike will also come with a fresh 12 month MOT.

The SP1 helped Honda achieve an important World super bike Championship victory in 2000 after three years of disappointment dominated by the powerful v-twin Ducati’s. However in 2000 The Honda VTR-SP1 also featured a 90-degree V-twin contributing to its championship success. After the success of the VTR1000 SP-1 Honda’s updated SP2 introduced a new press-forged longer swingarm, more rigid frame/ engine interface, improved fuel injection with 12 jet injectors for more power, 30mm taller screen for better protection, better looking indicators, new exhaust system, new 5-spoke wheel design and radiator fans both sides. Dry weight down from 199kg to 194kg.
This bike is as much at home on the track as it is on a Sunday afternoon ride out and there cannot be a better example currently on the market for sale. It would also be a great addition to any collection and represents great investment opportunity.
