2000 W SUZUKI GSF 600 BANDIT – Project / Spares
2000 Suzuki Bandit 600. Purchased as a project from my dad who was the last owner. I was restoring it and have already replaced a load of cheap mods with original or OEM style parts. Was black but now blue however I was intending to respray it . Has clear oem style indicators front and rear, braided lines, solo seat cowl, renthal bars, stainless brake fluid cap, stainles oil cooler guard. It appears to already have the desirable 1200cc swingarm uograde and wider rear wheel. Both tyres are good. To get it on the road it need the exhaust fitting properly, a new chain, front and rear pads and probably a carb clean. Clutch feela OK to me for a cable clutch (I’m spiiled by the Hydraulic one on my BNW). I was debating a hydraulic swap on this. Engine starts with a jump pack and ticks over no problem. Will need a respray if being restored. I will incude the K&N filter, oil fiter and anything else I find in the shed for it and a Haynes manual. Ideal winter project or parts bike. V5 present and in my name. Collection L25 area. If you bring some ratchet straps and a reg plate I can throw in a bike trailer for an extra £100. I could break it for parts and get more than what I want for it whole but I think my heavily pregnant wife will have kittens. |
