1991 Yamaha FZR1000 EXUP – (RU model) + LOADS OF SPARES

This bike is in very nice condition for it’s age and has fairly low mileage for it’s 34 years of life. The bike is in completely standard condition other than the tinted screen as well as replacement disks that have been fitted at some point. The engine is very smooth, superb power, mechanically quiet, smooth and precise gearbox, everything works just as it should (including the exhaust valve). The tyres are not too bad, they passed the last MOT and have only done about 6 miles since that time. The bodywork is not perfect, hardly surprising for a bike of this age, but it’s generally in nice condition and you have to look hard to see age related wear. There is a small bit of damage to the upper fairing, just where the left mirror fits but it’s not obvious and could easily be fixed.

The bike is currently declared off-road and has no MOT (it will fly through it’s next test). I’m happy to get it MOT’d if you wish, with the cost of the test added onto the purchase price.

The bike was originally bought with the intention of converting it into a track bike, but I never got round to it. I did however amass a large amount of spares for it’s intended future use. The following spares are included in the sale.
