SUZUKI DR 350 S – 1991 mostly restored to high standard, needs finishing off

Almost complete full restoration, over £1200 spent, needs finishing off and putting back on the road/ dirt, paperwork needs sorting out with DVLA too – see below. Please read carefully before bidding.

Wheels rebuilt with new spokes and bearings

Comes with Clymer Manual, Suzuki service manual and all of the original plastics and tank apart from the front mudguards. These aren’t in great shape but if you wanted to go for the standard look they will be useable with a paint job.
Also comes with bills adding up to over £1200 for the various bits and pieces listed above.

Clutch and gearbox working fine, electrics all working except the parking light and the high beam light (comes on with low beam)
It hasn’t run for 15 years or so but the bike should run with a bit of effort – it has a spark, plenty of compression and the carb is freshly rebuilt. I’m in a wheelchair which doesn’t work with a kick starter unfortunately and I have lost interest in the project (which started in lockdown). Needs someone with the skillsand time to bring it back to life.
To finish it off it needs the chain guard and guide / tensioner fitted (I have these) as well as Front and rear brakes (I have most of the parts and pipes) and a couple of niggles in the wiring (see below)

Last SORN 2012 but I understand it was stripped for rebuild years before that. Previous owner lost the V5.
It was completely stripped by the previous owner – frame was powder coated and the VIN plate got lost over the years. Because I don’t have the full chassis number, DVLA (data protection) prevents them from giving me the original chassis number & they insist on re registering it. They have issued a new VIN which needs to be stamped onto the frame by a garage then they will issue a new reg number. I have the necessary paperwork from the DVLA but no way to take it to a garage to get it sorted out myself.
This is a great project for someone handy and shouldn’t be much work to being back in use.
Bike is showing 10k miles; no guarantee of course but it looks about right for the condition its in
