1987 Suzuki RG400 Gamma with 22,717 km (approx 14,114 miles). This bike was mechanically rebuilt in 1999 by my father and has been family owned since. Many body panels are fibreglass from the rebuild. The bike has been stored dry for 10 years but starts and runs. It’s an honest, rider‑friendly classic that will reward a light recommissioning or sympathetic restoration.

Condition summary

  • Engine: Rebuilt in 1999; turns over, starts and runs reliably.
  • Storage: Kept dry for the last 10 years; not used regularly.
  • Service required: Recommend full service before regular use — carburettors cleaned, fluids and fuel lines replaced, battery and seals checked.
  • Tyres and brakes: Tyres should be inspected and likely replaced; brakes functional but advise a safety check.
  • Chassis: Straight with no known structural/frame damage.
  • Cosmetics: Fibreglass panels fitted during the 1999 rebuild; finish shows age consistent with that work and subsequent use; some chips and marks present.
