1987 Other Makes Cagiva Elefant running project
I have all the bodywork as the first photo is how the bike was when I got it. Carbs need to be tuned/ jetted properly. I sonic cleaned the carbs and put factory parts in them.
For sale one 1987 Cagiva Elefant 650.
Sold as a running project.
I got this about 7 years ago and it had a hard patina on it. But it was all there which is pretty freaking RARE.
For those who don’t know these are street legal mid 1980s rally bikes built to compete in the Paris to Dakar. Some might argue the greatest time is motorsports racing. Factory Ducati pantah 650 motor. Ohlins rear shock. Marzocchi front forks, Brembo brakes, Dell’Orto carbs, suppertrapp exhaust. (I have the worn out oem suppertrapp as well)
Comes with thousands of dollars worth of parts for the bike and tools specific to the pantah motor. More than is what pictured.
Price is firm and if you haven’t wanted one of these since the 80s you probably won’t understand this. From keys to collectors plates to updated ECUs this is more of a lifestyle than a project. Christ it’s a dirt bike with a pantah motor.
