Complete running bike. Starts on the button. Idles smoothly. Seems to have plenty of pull. (Yes, I’ve ridden it). Bike has been standing unused for years, engine, brakes and suspension parts ideally need a good once over. 

MOT until September next year. 1986 C reg, now eligible for historic status. 35k miles. 

Clutch action smooth. Engages all gears.

Mostly original, some fasteners are different, rear indicators are from a different model (I think). Will need a respray. Rear plastic mudguard has been lopped as per many bikes of the period. 

Fork legs have rust spots and obvious cleaning marks. Seals are good, no leaks. 

Tank has some bubbles in the paint, investigation shows that the tank is solid underneath the paint, hence the bare metal patches. Tank very clean inside. 

1 key present, which operates all the locks. 

Battery is old, but bike is charging at 14.5v. Lights and indicators work. 

Temp gauge doesn’t seem to be working. All other indicators are functioning. 

Bought this to do a restomod/streetfighter type of thing, but now I’ve got it, it seems too complete to butcher. I think it’s a good candidate for a proper restoration or a very good spares bike. 

Have the V5 document.

Bike does run, is MOT’d and you can ride away, however I would suggest a van/trailer would be a better idea due to it having stood unused for several years until very recently.
