Everything works as it should. I have just purchased a new battery. It has been looked after all its life however the service history is lacking, but when you look at it you wouldn’t believe its 38 years old. Almost tax exempt. Just short of 32k miles it may rise now the weather is getting better. I have also changed the starter motor relay. Its a very usable classic bike. I would prefer cash but if you have anything interesting to part ex let me know. It was serviced and MOT’d when i purchased it from a triumph main dealer in July last year. It has a mileage discretion from 2007 but its obviously an error on the MOT supplier pressing 4 instead of 7! 2006 mileage was 26k, 2007 drops to 24k (should be 27k) 2008 28k. It happened to me with my car this year the garage issued the wrong mileage to the dvla but I managed to get them to change it online. mot was done at the end of June and i have just changed the speedo cable also.
