1985 Yamaha YZ
This bike has had a complete bare frame nut and bolt restoration. It would be hard to find one in better condition. Here are the details of the restoration.
* Engine: new sleeve, piston, ported cylinder, Crankshaft rebuilt and balanced. and new bearings and seals. New reeds, clutch plates and new Keihen PWK 39 mm Carb.
* It has been up fitted to a 5 Speed transmission from a later model YZ490. New Chain and Renthal sprockets.
* Brand new Pro Circuit Pipe and Silencer
* Frame has been powder coated
* Chassis: front forks and triple clamp has been adapted from a 1997 Kawasaki KX500 with inverted forks. The forks were sent to Race Tech for rebuild with gold valves and new springs.
* Rear shock was anodized and rebuilt by Race Tech with a new spring
* It has brand new Excel rims with Buchanan heavy duty spokes.
* New throttle assembly clutch cable. ASV Levers,
* All new plastic, seat cover & foam,
* I will include the original wheels with the sale.
* It is evident there is way more in parts on this bike than the asking price. It only has about 3 hours on the engine since the restoration.
If your looking for an old school two stroke Yamaha with modern suspension and ride, this might be for you.
