1985 A2 GPZ900 with many modifications to make it a stand-out and one-off bike. Bike has undergone extensive work in my ownership which includes: full customised respray of fairing panels, tank, wing mirrors, wheels. Cam cover and swing arm powder coated. Fork stanchions re-chromed, new bearings to swinging arm & headstock, new hagon shock, new chain & sprockets, new air filters. New clutch fitted in my ownership with minimal miles since.
Performance upgrades: twin headlamp fairing, polished front forks, braced swinging arm, fork brace, rear indicators integrated into the fairing, “Side Kick Ti Ridium exhaust” (engine recently tuned to suit this exhaust & the new air filters), longer A8 model mirrors (much better rear view compared to previous models), braided stainless steel brake lines.
Sale includes Haynes workshop manual, genuine Kawasaki workshop manual, GPZ 900R Performance Portfolio & numerous magazine articles on GPZ 900’s.
Recent MOT & servicing to include valve clearances, carb service/balance. I believe that as this bike is now over 40 years old it qualifies as a Historic Vehicle and is, therefore, MOT & tax exempt but this will need to be verified & completed by a new owner. I have owned this bike since 2007 and spent a considerable sum to get her into this condition, regrettably, owing to aging hips/knees, I now need a more upright bike hence sale.
