Hello and welcome to my Listing.

This is an Unrestricted 1982 Mk1 10V YAMAHA DT 125 LC which was imported from France in 2016 and UK regd.

On an age related Plate JBW 710Y Which being over 40 years old is now eligible for being registered as Historic and therefore MOT/TAX exempt. Has matching Numbers as V5 And In my name

I purchased It in 2019 and had it On the road till the MOT expired in 2020.Up until this point My intention was to complete a Rolling Restoration an as such Acquired about £400 worth of spares…….Then I lost interest and the bike was Parked and covered up till recently when I bit the bullet and decided to sell it on to be finished off and put back on the road. Given the lay up period The petrol left in the tank had gone stale (now drained)The carb bowl float stuck open and the the throttle cable seized. Additionally the battery is Flat.

Prior to lay up the Bike was fully working (Including the oil pump )with no nasty Rattles or engine noises. It is Kicking over freely and has good compression. I have not tried to start it owing to the issues stated but I am sure in the hands of someone who has the Interest a days fettling will have it Running and riding Again.

Items I have already changed Include New Chain and sprockets, rear Wheel bearings and rear Brake shoes .

New spares included with the Bike are Front wheel bearings and Brake shoes, Taper roller bearing for Head stock, Swinging arm bushes, Piston/Rings/Gudgeon pin and Little end bearing, Full gasket set,Coil,condensor and kickstart rubber,Single pod carb air filter ,Side panel decals (125 Energy Induction),Red seat cover,Renthal handlebar foam.

Older spares procured include a New Old stock OEM front exhaust and heat shield,Rear chain guard and luggage rack,Regulator rectifier,Carb Body (no bowl),Kickstart shaft (splines intact) and return spring,Oil pump,YEIS Boost bottle,Headlight glass.I also have the Original Manual.

The original KMH speedo depicting 39,500 k is included.This was replaced with an MPH one which has about 19,500 miles.Has DEP sport silencer which sounds rorty,Aftermarket set of indicators and recent Horn assembly.

I have priced this to sell and recoup what i have in this. It does want a full refurb to the Plastics and Tank which have suffered degradation in the French sunshine.
