For sale is my Yamaha XS500 restoration project, complete with the UK V5 Registration Certificate, original Yamaha workshop/service manual, original keys, and a huge collection of genuine Yamaha spare parts.
This is an increasingly rare opportunity to purchase a very original XS500 with an exceptional history.
The bike has had just two owners from new. The previous owner owned it for 44 years, having purchased it in the early 1980s. It was taken off the road in 1992 and has remained parked inside his workshop ever since, where it has been dry stored for over 30 years. It has not been ridden since 1992.
The motorcycle comes with its original keys and is accompanied by an extensive collection of genuine Yamaha parts, making it an ideal restoration project.

Examples in this condition, with only two owners, 44 years of ownership by the previous keeper, original keys, V5, service manual, and this quantity of genuine spare parts are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
