The bike was bought in 2017 in rough condition due to a long lay-up in a damp and condensation prone container. It has had the tanks and toolbox cover resprayed by Advanced Bike Painting in Keynsham, it has been rebored and has had the crank rebuilt and new clutch springs fitted. It has been fitted with GT750 forks and twin disks, and Hagon shocks. With the LED headlamp and running / rear repeater lights it is now a practical rider for todays roads The forks have been re hard chromed by AM Philpot in Luton and have new seals. It had a new seat and rims fitted before its lay-up though the seat could do with re-covering now. The rims, unfortunately, had rusted badly and have been replaced with alloys. It has bar end mirrors and heated grips fitted. It will come with all the parts that it arrived with (hoses, master cylinder, oil pump and supply bits, air filter bits, mirrors, exhaust pipes and loads of other bits. The standard exhausts are fitted with Titan stainless steel pipes as are the supplied Titan Performance expansion chambers (with modified baffles to reduce the noise by about 50% so they are now merely very loud) It will also come with the Titan Performance rearset footrests, though they aren’t fitted as I didn’t get
on with them. It will also come with a Giuliari style seat and the racing fairing that I never fitted , and the standard front forks (also re chromed by Philpots and rebuilt). Other parts fitted include a Titan Performance chainguard, a VaPE 180 watt ignition / charging set, grab rail (fitted), carrier and top box (not fitted), Scottoiler, new needles and gaskets etc. in the carburettors, front and rear mudguards, SatNav mount, flyscreen, new chain and sprockets, brake pads and shoes, and a fair number of other bits as time has gone on. Pics attached are as it is with the standard seat and exhausts, and with the expansion chambers and Giuliari style seat fitted before it was properly resprayed . It still has one of the factory stickers on saying that the disk brake doesn’t work in the wet (see pic).
