Yamaha CS5E Classic Motorcycle
The bike runs very well and appears to be mechanically good with all electrics fully working (including electric start/charger) excellent brakes.
The chrome work is good though there are light scratches on the exhausts which would most certainly polish out.
She is UK registered and tax/mot exempt.
She is a lovely looking and very collectable bike which replaced the CS3 and is the forerunner to the Yamaha RD 200.
The production run of the CS5E was only 12 months.
There have been lots of new parts fitted and she presents well.
She has been partly restored and is 95% of the way to being 100% original. In order to bring her to being 100% she would need the original air filter box, air filters and rubbers as she is currently fitted with 2 K&N Filters which is the only non original fitment.
The one other thing to bring her back to 100% would be a new centre stand as the one fitted whilst correct did not have the foot extension to be able to put her on the stand, There is a threaded bolt fitted in its place so it can be placed on the centre stand easily.
