This is an older cosmetic restoration of a 1965 Harley Davidson Electra Glide. This Harley Panhead is first year of the Electra Glide and first year electric start. It is also the last year of Panhead production. This motorcycle is equipped with all the first-year items used in production in 1965 including the extra paint payment for the High-fi Red color and paint scheme.

This 1965 Electra Glide lived the majority of time in the San Diego area and it has been in controlled storage since the demise of the original owner.

This motorcycle has a clean California Title and it is current registration (Non-op).

MILEAGE: 12,432 showing on a working odometer.

PAINT: Correct paint scheme for the year model at an extra cost, The High Five Red with white tank bottoms and pinstripes along the panel edge is in incredible shape and without flaws. No scratches noted, repair under right tank noted. This motorcycle appears to be equipped with all of the accessory items for King of the Highway Group available.

SHEET METAL: Original factory Sheet metal well fit and without dings or dents noted. Gas tanks are clean and in excellent shape.

CHROME: Chrome on the bike is in outstanding shape and takes a great sheen. Appears to have all chrome items available at the time in the #1 Chrome finish group.

MECHANICAL: This bike is in excellent mechanical shape. Starts right up and is smooth through the gears. It has been in dry storage for a few years and there is no history on maintenance of the original owner.

WHEELS & TIRES: Rims are Harley Davidson chromed steel with chrome spokes and nipples.

Front tire is Harley Davidson Dunlop 90 R 16 in excellent shape.

Rear tire is Harley Davidson Dunlop 90 R 16 in excellent shape.
