BSA Bantam D7 175cc 1965, red
1965 BSA Bantam D7, 175cc, finished in a stunning red colour.
I purchased this bike around 15 years ago and as you can see it is an unfinished project. The paintwork is all complete , although there are a few small areas of the frame and the panels that will benefit from a touch in, but otherwise the paintwork is in great shape.
The tank was rechromed a number of years ago.
The main work requiring completion is the wiring loom, so it requires someone with some electrical experience to complete this project.
Over the years I have purchased a new seat, exhaust, new wheels and tyres as well as many other parts and components .
The photos show one picture of the condition of the bike when I purchased it and another a few years ago when all panels were painted, showing the potential of how good this bike can look.
The registration certificate shows that the bike is Blue/Black, but as can be seen from the photos it was red when I purchased it.
The frame number matches the log book, however the engine number does not, so that must have been replaced at some point.
This listing comes complete with most if not all of the specialist tools that you need to repair and maintain this bike.
It also comes supplied with a Haynes workshop manual.
This is a reluctant sale and is due to a house move.
