1962 BSA Bantam D7. With genuine original engine numbers,current V5 registration document. Brief description and work carried out:- This lovely little motorcycle was bought as a project in2021 and has been extensively mechanically overhauled retaining the overallappearance and patina as it appeared after some 20 years storage in a barn andas shown in the attached photos. Work carriedout includes: Cylinderrebore, new (Rex Caunt) piston and rings. All new engine and gearbox bearingsand seals plus internal springs and chains as required. Electrexworld, CDI Ignition Kit – STK-1257and Mikuni VM22 carburettor, jetted andsupplied by Rex Caunt.All new clutch plates, cable and professionally reconditionclutch basket. New wheelbearings, tyres, tubes and bands. Final drive chain and brake linings. Theoriginal ignition parts and carburettor have been retained if required toreturn it to original spec.Overall, this is a good hobby bike with room for continuedproject interest and improvement. |
