Matchless G12 1960
1960 Matchless 650 G12 CSR with added upgrades and modifications.
The Bike has belonged to my father who bought it in the early eighties.
The engine was complete rebuilt and fitted with an oil filter upgrade as the reason the original engine failed was due to the poor oil filtering system.
The bike was eventually returned to the road in 1995 with an age related plate.
Recently the bike had been converted to 12 volt electronic ignition, had twin carbs fitted, new fuel taps, added rev counter, and had an upgrade twin pull from brake mechanism fitted. This makes the bike very much more useable.
The bike will come with all the original parts if the buyer wants to return it to stock (apart from the electrical conversion)
The white paint on the tank is slightly crazed but it was painted 30 plus years ago.
