1952 BSA M20 M21 Barn Find, running, V5
Here we have a BSA M20/M21, 1952. Non transferrable number. V5 present and correct (engine and frame numbers as per V5). Running and returning oil, has been restored but long time ago so selling A/F and in need of attention. Please do look at the photos as they form a significant part of the description. Home made mud guard stays and a new seat pad on an old frame. Frame number is M20 14236 and the engine number is ZM21 14236. The engine number has been stamped over the top of an older number, however, it does match the number on the log book. It has had an early (I think) electric ignition conversion with a coil mounted under the tank. I have had this bike running, everything appears to be working OK (brakes, clutch etc) but as with any old bike that’s not been in use (approx 15 years), it will need a good looking over! Bike is situated near Forres in NE Scotland (IV36 2QQ). Winning bidder (or buy it now) will need to arrange own collection or transportation (can highly recommend Caledonian Motorcycle Transport – The Bike Bus). They know us and where we live, have moved many bikes for us now over the years. I do have a video of the bike running so if you have WhatsApp send me your number and I’ll send it to you – I couldn’t get it to load on here. |
