Alcyon 651 / Peugeot
Alcyon was a French bicycle, automobile and motorcycle manufacturer between 1903 and 1954. This model then later produced by Peugeot for a time after it bought over tools and machining from defunct Alcyon
Tech details 100cc automatic single cylinder, pedal start, for restoration. New tyres and tubes, requires carb to be tuned or can be replaced (Bantam D1 fits to engine). Engine turns over however not been run for some time, so that would need to be addressed.
Need work on metal work for the handle bars and chrome to tidy up or try keep original look for authentic old charm
I bought this a couple of years ago as a resto project with my father however he has passed on and as time has been against me and the enthusiasm worn off as I have other projects now. I have added carb from small quad bike that fitted and got running in the past, tided and cleaned original paintwork, newish tires put on from a Bantam and replaced seat.
It is still showing a French registration, this unusual and pretty machine will be very attractive once restored.
Sold as seen, has some paperwork with it from previous owner I bought this machine off of with CD with additional background included .
However will need to be registered in UK with V55/5
