1948 Matchless G3L Classic Motorcycle
The dynamo charges, the horn and lights work, the chaincase is oil tight. Good tyres. Starts easily. Tax and MOT exempt.
I have had the bike since 2015 but am getting a bit past it.
Keenly priced (see attached magazine covers included in the sale) and see an example of a similar bike in military guise
(they are worth a lot more if repainted like this and you can get all the panniers etc from India.)
Also the 1940s models in trials trim only varied by having a 21″ front wheel and upswept pipe – again all available online if you wanted to compete in classic trials.
However I like it just as it is. Cash on collection please. See headlamp photo for my number
