What I have up for sale is a very clean, restored 1934 Harley Davidson VD 74ci solo bike. One of roughly 7,500 of the big v-twin series for Harley, it helped keep the company afloat during the great depression.  Able to reach speeds of up to 100 mph using a flathead motor, it was considered way ahead of its time.  These bikes were used by sports enthusiasts, police, and wildcats across the US.

The bike here is affectionately named Rosie.  She was fully restored by a Harley enthusiast sometime in 2023-2024.  This included a teardown of the engine and rewiring using period correct wiring.  This bike has matching case and belly numbers and includes a good deal of original HD parts.  I have photos of the bike pre/post restoration for any potential buyer.  She runs well but could use some time dialing in for longer rides.  I’ve kept her relatively local and traveled up to 40 miles for shows, etc.  All electronics work as they should however charging is on the low side, which could indicate the 32E generator needs to be serviced.  Otherwise, she’ll kick over on the first kick and doesn’t excessively smoke, etc.  Only reason for selling is to downsize my collection.

Any potential buyer is responsible for payment no later than 14 business days from listing close.  Payment must be in form of cashier’s check or bank wire and must clear before title or bike is released.  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, however I can recommend a transportation company if needed.  Please ask all questions prior to the end of the listing.  This is a very clean bike that will make you quite happy, but please remember she is 93 years old.  Thank you and good luck!
