1930 Sunbeam Model 1. Oil rag – 3500!
Here is my Sunbeam model 1 in oily but running condition. This is the first year they went to round tank and automatic oiling, which makes it a lot easier to ride espicallywith the 3 speed box. Going to regret selling this as I love the look and condition but just dontuse it as much as my 60’s bike. Having said that I’ve Done a lot of miles on this and it has never broken down and no matter how long its been left it starts first bump. V5 in my name and have a lot of paper work with it and a folder. Purchased it as a running project but still has a few problems, the gear stick jumps out of first and the kick start teeth are knackered. Luckily it fires after two pushes and 2nd has a lot of power so I’ve just lived with the problem but that’s why I have listed it as make offer. The forks are very straight and work well and is surprisingly quick for a 93 year old. Not sure if it’s orginal paint but definitely looks it.
