1930 AJS 500 (x2)
Selling on behalf of my godfather, 2 1930 AJS 500s. One is 1930 R9 500 Deluxe. No smoke when running, no leaking oil. It’s been in the family since new (we think). My godafter inherited it from his late brother, who was a member of the vintage motorcycle club and used to run this bike regularly. There’s lots of (really) old paper work as per the photos including original 3 month warranty. V5 present and in my godfather’s name.
The second is a 1930 Twin port 500. It was fully restored 20 years ago but very little use since. Very quick bike. This model was the first to complete the IOM TT at 70 mph back in the mid 20s. V5 present and in my godfather’s name. Bike also inherited from his late brother. Both bikes run and my godfather has plenty of spares too.
