Selling my UK matching numbers RD350lc (4LO). Just finished restoring fo rsale

This included:

–  disassembly to bare frame. Inspection revealed minor repair at side stand mount coating

– all removed black bits re-powder coated ( except handle bar, handles, steering head)

– all chrome bits removed re-chromed(except headlight bezel which was renewed)

– engine side covers removed, water pump, oil pump serviced ( crankcase not split as new bearings seals crankshaft previously fitted)

At earlier restoration I replaced crankshaft and all bearings

Matched piston/rebored barrels fitted

Carbs overhauled

Master cyclinder overhauled, calipers overhauled at earlier restoration

-Foot pedal powder coated olive drab

-New chain due to rust rather than wear

– After refitting wiring loom  signal lost to rear lights. This was one of those ‘new pattern’ looms where the wire joins are not crimped but twisted. The joins have all been redone. Be very careful with these looms, I have a refurbished original type  for sale  at 3/4 price.

New brake discs / pads. Brake calipers where serviced a few years ago; master cylinder serviced.

Built a rig for testing indicator relay / sender which are guaranteed working.

Its got the tool tray properly fitted and a tool set under seat at rear.

Its single key ( with two of these of course). 

Its a ’81  number 7598 so a very early bike. Interestingly it does have tie bars so someone must have retrofitted them as its too early i think. (actually a really easy mod as the casing was cast for these  but the bosses where not threaded.

Its on microns,  I had boyeson  two stage reeds fitted which fixed a flat spot  before the exhausts came on song ( what a sound!)

My spare set of barrels have been rebored to match a new set of  pistons ( japanese of course). I  Have these up for 800  but their TMV is nearer 700.  I will sell these with the bike for 250 gbp if needed.

Age…. and the fact a young lady knocked me off my daily commuter…. means it needs to find a new loving home.
