Here we have a FZR 1000… bought last
year from a mr T Knight from Staffordshire… he spent the best part of £800 to a £1000 on it,rebuilding the top end,and after finally deciding to part for greener pastures… sold it to me!!
Haven’t had 5 minutes to work on,having planned to replace some of the plastic… he even gave me some replaceable decals for it… all in for a £1000!!!
Obviously, it’s not been on the road, but looks good enough to pass amot with a little work… right, indicator … main nose fairing… and a few other small bits and pieces!
It’s got 42,000 miles on it… not too bad for a 32 year old bike!
Tried starting it a week or so ago and wasn’t having it… then realised there wasn’t any petrol in it!!! Now that I’ve got a day free on Saturday,I can’t find the keys!!! Not a problem!! Have spare ignition and tank!! The seat is not latched down thankfully so I might get a chance to spark her up over the weekend!!
