TriumphT150V Trident 1975.

 Don’t knowif the mileage on the speedo is right. It shows 2384. Very low. The cylinderbores are still on standard size and still have the hone marks in them. Decidefor yourself.

 Importedfrom the US and now has full UK V5. I bought this from a man who was restoringit. He had too many projects so sold this one. He had started the restorationwhen I bought it and have it registered in my name now with the full V5c in myname. There are many new parts.

 The speedoand rev counter will need refurbishing. I have taken the chrome rims off andwas going to do it myself but I think you need special tools to put new rimsback and also some knowledge I don’t have. You could also put new pattern oneson instead if you wanted.

 

All theblack frame parts have been powder coated

 

US spec tankand mudguards been stove enamelled and look excellent.

New seat.

New exhaustheader and new down pipes.

New forkstanchions and seals.

New frontbrake master cylinder and all new hoses and pipework.

When Ibought it the cylinder head and rocker boxes had been taken off presumably tostrip down and rebuild the engine as the man, I bought it off didn’t know thehistory of the bike. The side covers had also been taken off and polished. As Idon’t know the history of the engine, I was going to continue to strip theengine and rebuild it. I have only got around to taking the cylinders off so far,the bores are spot on. They are still on standard size and the hone marks arestill in the bores and there is no step at all at the top. The big ends have noplay in them and are very smooth and free running. There is also no discernibleplay in the main bearing at all. I have too many projects myself and not enoughyears left to finish so regrettably I need to sell stuff. This bike will be anexcellent when finished and it is already registered with a full V5c. There aresome parts missing as far as I can see and there is probably odd nuts and boltsetc but there are all sorts of new rubber grommets etc along with various nutsand bolts. What I can see missing is.
